The When Harry Met Sally director and his wife's daughter Romy Reiner was first on the scene after the tragedy at their Brentwood, California, home Dec. 14, according to the LA Times, citing family friends.
Meanwhile, the New York Times, citing a person close to the Reiner family, reported that Romy who lived nearby came to the house with her roommate after her parents' massage therapist didn't get an answer at the door ahead of their at-home appointment.
When she entered, the person alleged that the 27-year-old found Rob's body before running outside, where her roommate called 911. Romy didn't see Michele's body, according to the source, and was told about her death by a paramedic.

The evening before, Rob and Michele who also shared kids Jake Reiner, 34, and Nick Reiner, 32 had attended Conan O'Brien's Christmas party. Their younger son who was arrested in connection with their deaths had gotten into a heated argument with his dad, two sources with knowledge of the situation told NBC News.
Two days after Rob and Michele's bodies were discovered, Nick was charged with two counts of murder and is currently being held without bond.
Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman shared further insight into the charges, which could carry a maximum sentence of life in prison or the death penalty.
"These charges will be two counts of first-degree murder with a special circumstance of multiple murders," Hochman noted at the Dec. 16 press conference. "He also faces a special allegation that he personally used a dangerous and deadly weapon, that being a knife."
