Nick Reiner Had Strange Interaction With Bill Hader at Party Before Parents' Murders

The night before Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner were murdered, their son Nick Reiner attended Conan O’Brien’s holiday party and had a weird encounter with Bill Hader, sources told NBC News.

Nick Reiner was reportedly acting odd the night before his parents’ murders.

Indeed, the 32-year-old son joined Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner at a holiday party hosted by Conan O’Brien on Dec. 13 and had at least one interaction that left attendees uncomfortable, two sources with knowledge of the situation told NBC News.

During the event, Nick interrupted a conversation Saturday Night Live alum Bill Hader was having with two guests, the sources said. Then, after Bill told him the conversation was private, Nick proceeded to stand still and stare before "storming off," according to one source.

E! News and U! News has reached out to a rep for Bill for comment but has not yet heard back.

Beyond his interaction with the SNL star at the party, Nick was also seen getting into an argument with the When Harry Met Sally director and his wife, multiple sources told The Los Angeles Times and People.

Meanwhile, Jane Fonda revealed she too spent time with Rob and Michele the day before authorities say they were stabbed to death at their Los Angeles home Dec. 14.

"I saw them night before last looking healthy and happy," the two-time Oscar winner wrote on Instagram Dec. 15. "I am reeling with grief. Stunned."

Hours after the bodies of Rob, 78, and Michele, 70, were discovered, Nick was located and arrested on suspicion of their murders, according to a press release from the Los Angeles Police Department. He is currently being held without bail.

Following an investigation, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced that Nick would be formally charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
